Introduction

Beyond Cocoa is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our service. 


For the purpose of this Agreement, “site” refers to the company’s website, which can be accessed at www.beyondcocoa.com

“Service” refers to: when you contact us for information or place an order, subscribe to our mailing list or newsletter, join our Entrepreneur Mastermind Club, attend our coffee mornings or tasting sessions.

Grounds for data collection 

We use the data we collect including your personal information to help us improve our services to you, tailor information we send to you and to improve our site.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Personal Information: this is information that personally identifies you. We may ask you to provide some information which we can use to contact you when you visit our site. This may include: your name, email address, telephone number, preferences, interests and any other relevant information specific to your enquiry which you submit to us through the registration process at the Site.


We collect identifiable personal information:

  • On first contact on our website: when you subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for our coffee morning or tasting session, request to be added to our mailing list and when you request information or a call back. 
  • Secondly when you provide a testimonial after a service or complete a feedback form after an event.

Information collected via Technology

To activate the service initially, you do not need to submit any personal information other than your name and email address by subscribing to our newsletter on our site. To use the service thereafter, you do need to submit further personal information by completing a form which will be emailed to you to provide more information on your preferences and interests.


However, in an effort to improve the quality of the service, we track information provided to us by your browser or by our software application when you view or use the Service, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the service, the time and date of access, and other statistics that do not personally identify you. We track this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s computer hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables us to collect non-personal information (This includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you) as a user. We may use cookies to collect the following information: your internet protocol address, date, time of visit and how long you spent on pages of our site, and any other statistics your browser sends to us. In order to improve our services, we may employ a third party such as Google Analytics, to help us collect, monitor and analyse the information you share with us. 

Information you provide us by registering for an account

Information is provided automatically by your browser when you visit the site. To become a subscriber to the service you will need to create a personal profile. You can create a profile by subscribing to our new letter by entering your name and email address. By registering, you are authorising us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

The site and the service are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13, or allow anyone under the age of 13 to sign up for the service. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy .

Third party collection of information

Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. Personal Information:

We do share personal information with vendors who are performing services for the company, such as website hosting partners and the servers for our email communications who are provided access to user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. We also share information with other parties who assist us in running our business smoothly such as card processing companies. Those vendors use your personal information only at our direction and in accordance with our privacy policy.



In general, the personal information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact you in response to questions, solicit feedback from you, and inform you about promotional offers and events; and to help us plan and coordinate our services.

Beyond Cocoa reserves the right to change or update this policy and our terms of service at any time.
